physical and digital sculpture
This project is part of the series of sculptures called “Déambulatoires” started in 2018. The particularity of this edition is that it was conceived simultaneously as a concrete sculpture, a model optimized for 3D printing and as a digital generative artwork
The digital generative token expresses various possible stages in the lifetime of what that object could be as a human-scale architectural work. Is it being built or is it decaying?
It’s in that brief moment when something is being built or dismantled that you can see and understand its inner structure. You have the privileged access to the secrets of its conception. It is vulnerable and fragile, but also light and elegant. The unfinished quality leaves room for the imagination to guess where the piece came from or where it is going.

3D printed sculptures
One of the main purposes of this token is the possibility to have it 3D printed. Here are examples of printed models at 78x78x78 mm, the default output size, which is the minimal recommended size for printing. Large sizes may produce better quality prints and minimize breakage risks.
Concrete Models
The physical version is a cast concrete sculpture produced in 3 editions “Primitives” exhibition.
It was presented at OSA/J.W. Stellick Gallery in Ottawa from Oct 6-Nov 13, 2022.
It also was presented at:
Art Toronto, in collaboration with gallerie Art Mûr, October 27 – 30, 2022
Surrey Art Center “Through the Lattice”, January 21 – March 26 2023
