MINIATURE MONUMENTAL SCULPTURES

“Monuments” is the name of a series, but also the main body of works and the title of an exhibition that was presented twice in Belgium in 2018:

Monument no. 22

Monuments 21 and 22 were cast using urethane rubber molds.
With this process, the first step is to make a “positive” of the sculpture.
To make the formwork, I used a mix of polystyrene, foamcore and carboard.
